Description
Registered Apprenticeship Program Onboarding is the first step in launching your salon’s in-house Registered Apprenticeship Program. This one-time onboarding prepares your business to become an employer sponsor under Groom Curriculum’s U.S. Department of Labor-recognized National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards.
Groom Curriculum provides the agreements, documentation, training, and implementation support needed to help your salon establish its apprenticeship program and meet applicable federal and state requirements.
Your onboarding includes:
- Employer Sponsor Agreements, including the Groom Curriculum End User Agreement and Appendix D Employer Sponsor Agreement
- One Train-the-Trainer program to prepare your designated mentor
- Required registration documents and implementation guidance
- State registration assistance, where applicable
- Federal and state compliance setup support
- Templates, documentation, and onboarding resources needed to launch your program
Please note: This one-time onboarding is required before enrolling apprentices in the Registered Apprenticeship Program. Once your salon has completed onboarding, each apprentice will purchase a separate Registered Apprenticeship Enrollment Fee to access the curriculum and begin training.
