Groom Curriculum’s Salon Dermabather program helps improve skills in bathing and caring for pets’ skin and coats. Dermabathers learn how to choose the right water temperature and products, and the best ways to bathe, dry, and prepare pets based on their specific needs. The program also covers understanding different dog behaviors, coat types, durable skills and proper handling techniques. Designed for working dermabathers and salon teams, this program encourages a consistent approach to getting better results at the washing station.

Groom Curriculum’s Fast Track is a streamlined test-prep version of Upskill that strengthens core grooming fundamentals while preparing experienced groomers for the AKC–PGC. Through videos, quizzes, short lessons, and practical activities, it covers all six AKC educational domains, Professional Groomer Safety; Pet Safety & Humane Treatment; Grooming Sanitation Procedures; Description & Physical Characteristics of Dogs; Professional Pet Grooming Practices; and Professionalism & Business Soft Skills and includes a live Q&A to sharpen test-day confidence. Built for busy dog groomers.

Durable Skills for Groomers is a personality-driven course built around our exclusive Packinality Quiz, where dog breed group traits meet human workplace dynamics. It features fun, character-based Breed Personality Cards and Badges that help groomers explore communication styles and team dynamics through a groomer’s lens. After discovering their “breed group,” learners gain practical tools for working with others, including stress management, phone etiquette, and active listening. It’s the perfect mix of self-awareness and skill-building to grow professionalism and confidence in any grooming environment.

Onboard newly hired, experienced dog groomers with LEAD (Leadership, Education, Accountability & Development). This structured program gives salon managers a clear, consistent way to welcome new team members, set expectations, and support their transition into the salon.

Includes a manager-guided 10-Day Onboarding, Fast Track training, Packinality Durable Skills, and the AKC-PGC exam. A brief manager orientation is required before training begins.
